Twitch abruptly banned celebrity streamer Guy “Dr. Disrespect” Beahm last night, leading to a day of speculation about what currently remain remain mysterious circumstances. At this point, it remains unclear why Twitch took the extraordinary step of abruptly banning one of its most popular—if most problematic—streamers, and Disrespect has yet to make a statement on Twitter or any social media channels, though his wife did make a now-deleted statement on her Instagram referring to an “outpouring of support” from her husband’s fan community.
Beyoncé is bringing a new film to Disney +. The singer has written, directed and executive produced a new film titled, Black Is King, which will debut globally on the streaming service on July 31, 2020. The film will premiere ahead of the one-year anniversary of the release of Disney’s The Lion King. Read more
